Cadillac DeVille 1961 Description

This is a true California car. Built and sold in Los Angeles. The first owner of this car bought it for the sole use as a wedding car. It was originally all white. In the early eighties the car was purchased by someone in Costa Mesa Ca. This gentleman had the car painted red. In 1992 a gentleman in Riverside county Ca. purchased the car as a restoration project for him and his son. They redid the whole interior and rebuilt the motor. The car ended up not being used much and in 1995 was parked until 2013 when it was found by my buddy Ray who promptly snatched it up. The car had to be totally flushed and new fluids along with a complete fuel system including pump, ines and new Edlebrock carb. Then Ray had a totally new dual exhaust installed with 24" glass pacs and Belflower tips along with new lowering springs and shocks front and back. This baby cruises like a land yacht Cadillac should; like cruising on a cloud. I drove this car down to the photoshoot and it cruises with one finger, o joke! Everything works on this beautifully kept sled, ven the wonderbar radio! I would rate the glass in this car a 10 because I could not find a chip or scratch anywhere!
