Cadillac DeVille 1993 Description
Always garaged until 2012. Under a carport since then. Owners husband has passed away, o I am selling this for her.The good: NO RUST! NO BODY WORK. New battery. Runs and drives well. Aluminum wheels. Brakes work well with no pulsing/vibration. Interior is about as clean as they come with no rips or tears in the upholstery. Driver and passenger 6 way power seats. Powered windows, ocks, runk release, uel door release, irrors and antenna. Auto dimmer. Child safety locks on rear doors and windows. Driver operated window lock. Security system with alarm and electronically coded ignition key. Symphony Sound AM FM cassette deck with 5 band EQ. Auto Temp climate control system. Tilt steering. Cruise control. Driver side air bag. Digital odometer and speedometer readout. Instant or average fuel mileage readout. You can average 26 MPG when driven accordingly. Will attain 30 MPG on level ground @ 55 MPH according to the instant mileage readout. (Not attesting to accuracy. That's just what it displayed) No spots on the ground from any leaks while parked. I have not pulled the wheels to inspect the brakes to see how much lining there is.
The Bad: A/C compressor clutch needs a new bearing, nd then a system recharge. Some scratches and chips in the paint, ut difficult to spot. Some flaked paint on some of the trim pieces. The cloth is starting to sag on the headliner. Needs a bulb in the left cornering lamp. A bottle of touch-up paint has been left in the glove box. It leaked and is now stuck to the box, o it will either still be there, r there will be a large spot in the box where the fuzzy lining is no longer. Yo9u'll probably want to put some tires on it for winter. What's on there would get through another summer just fine, ut you won't move very well in snow!
The ugly: There isn't anything to mention!
Overall a very nice ride. I have disclosed all that I know that I can find with it, aving not pulled it apart for any further physical inspection. Available for viewing in southern Oregon. More detailed photos on request.
