Cadillac DeVille 1964 Description
I am selling my beautiful 1964 Cadillac deVille Convertible - last year of the tail-fins! 99,xxx miles on the odometer, believed to be all original and correct. It's a great turn-key cruiser that starts right up every time, idles like a sewing machine, runs like a Cadillac should, and stops on a dime. Power steering and power brakes make driving effortless. The car was always well kept and it shows - all the power windows work flawlessly, as does the power convertible top and the power seat (works properly in all directions). All the headlights work, as well as the tail/brake lights, turn signals (as well as the indicators on top of the fenders), horn, etc... The original AM/FM radio works as does the power antenna, however a newer radio unit is in the glove box that is connected to newer speakers in the stock locations. The original radio works fine (for 1964 technology), but for better sound and reception the speakers are connected to the newer one. It is a factory Climate Controlled AC car and all components are present. I never use it because it's a convertible, but I'm sure it will need at least a charge to blow ice cold again. The body is in great shape with the shiny white paint showing minimal wear. The chrome and other trim are in nice shape as well with minor imperfections from age. The red leather interior is in beautiful shape with little or no wear at all - it's like sitting in a new 1964 Cadillac. Carpets, visors, dashboard, door panels, etc. are all in great shape. The white convertible top is in great shape as well and goes up and down smoothly. I have the convertible top boot (cover for when the top is down), it shows some wear and has a small hole as pictured. The trunk is nicely finished with carpeting, and the original carboard trim. It has the spare tire with the cover and the original bumper jack in the proper location. All the floors and trunk pans are solid, as is the frame and the rest of the undercarraige.Overall, it's a beautiful Cadillac that's ready to drop the top and go for a cruise. Not a perfect show or museum car, but rather something you won't be scared to take for a drive and enjoy. This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning that the car will be sold to the highest bidder. Sold as-is. Feel free to message me with any OFFERS, QUESTIONS, or to COME SEE THE CAR in person before bidding.
