Cadillac DeVille 1965 Description
You are viewing my beautiful 1965 Sedan Deville by Cadillac. This is a wonderful low-mileage example of one of the great American luxury cars of the mid '60's when America was making the best cars in the world. This Sedan Deville exemplifies all that was Cadillac during this wonderful era in the company's storied history when it truly set the standard for beauty grace and style in the automotive world. And when you slide yourself into the driver's seat of this incredible machine it is easy to understand the sense of pride that a new owner would have felt pulling away from the dealership for the first time in his or her new Cadillac. Simply stunning describes this car to a T.
For a full week in May we experienced perfect weather and I took the opportunity to use this beautiful automobile as daily transportation both for the pure enjoyment of it and so that I might work out any bugs that might diminish the driving experience. Also I had previously ordered an electronic ignition conversion kit and coil and this was a great time to get thisdone as well. These upgrades along with the new gas tank fuel bowl and carburetor (the correct replacement for this Cadillac)that I had done in the fall make this Cadillac one of the most enjoyable drives I've experienced. This car starts spectacularly and runs at highways speeds like its hungry for more. I continually found myself leaving suggested speeds unintentionally simply because its so smooth and eager. Or course I always throttled back and stayed within posted limits:).
This Cadillac shows as well as it goes. The body is very very nice; I've eaten off diner plates that aren't nearly as clean asthe motor; and the interior chrome is astounding. It is the most well-preserved Cadillac dash I've ever seen! The trunkisvery nice as well. I even pulledback the trunk liner and took some photos on the spotless steel underneath they are available by request.
I'm sure you will love owning this car as much as I have.I have too many cars at the moment and am seeking to thin the herd as they say so please contact me with any questions or concerns and we can go from there. I usuallyentertain trades but right now I'm hoping to create space so I'm putting trades on hold. Thanksfor looking!
