Ford Other 1974 Description
Up for your consideration is my 1974 Pinto Station Wagon. This is in unrestored original condition. I purchased this car from the original owner last year because it is so solid. It is so solid it even has the original 1974 muffler on it still! It runs and drives great and is an excellent candidate for a restoration or hot rod project. Now it did spend it's whole life in the California sun so yes it does have a cracked dash. faded and dried out carpet and paint that is totally baked. but when was the last time you saw such an original and rust free Pinto Wagon? I have included some undercarriage pictures so you can see the truly solid condition. Please ask any serious questions and I will be happy to answer them for you. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. A $500. 00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and full payment via certified funds must be made within 3 business days. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. On May-06-15 at 06:05:38 PDT. seller added the following information:I have received many questions. so I thought I would ad an update to answer the most common ones. - Yes it has a back seat. it was just folded down when I took the pictures. - Yes. I have clear Iowa title in my name ready for transfer. I do have a copy of the original California "pink slip" that was issued in December 1973 that the original owner signed over to me when I purchased the car. - Yes it really does still have the original muffler. It is still the original one piece welded together exhaust system. Also. if you look at the picture of the muffler I included. you can still read the Ford logo and the manufacturer date of 10/73 stamped in it. - Yes I have the original owner's manual and misc. paperwork from when it was bought new. - All the glass is good. no cracks etc. - Yes it really is in original "as purchased" condition. (I haven't even washed it since owning it) :)- I stated it runs and drives good. and it does. In the interest of being completely accurate it is a little cold blooded first thing. however once it warms up (3-4 minutes) it's fine. - Yesterday I did notice that one of the turn signals did not cancel when I used it. So know that it may need a new cancel spring or switch. Again. I just want to be as accurate as I can in describing the car. - I am selling the car (and 6 others out of my collection) due to a change in my professional life that has me traveling A LOT more than ever before. So when I am home I need to take care of personal business and try to spend as much time with family as possible. The time I have to spend with my cars is much more limited. So instead of letting them sit. I have chosen to pass them on to another car enthusiast. I am still keeping 10 of them. so I will still have plenty to care for and enjoy. That covers the questions I have been getting asked a lot. If you have any other questions. don't hesitate to ask.
