Cadillac Eldorado 1972 Description

I purchased this vehicle in early 1999 from the original owner who lived in Incline Village, alifornia. It had a cheap repaint but everything else was original and all there. I immediately disassembled the car and had the body media blasted. The body was totally rust free and only had two small dings. The restoration included the body, aint, hrome, tainless, nterior, op, heels, ires and brakes. The powertrain and frame remain original and unrestored. All original metal parts were kept and repainted, lated or polished. No reproduction parts were used. The paint is Sikkens, he leather is Classic Soft Trim, he rear axle was converted to disc brakes, t has 17x8 Budnik wheels. The engine and transmission are smooth and powerful, ut both are due for a re-seal. A/C compressor is not operational, est guess is that it needs an overhaul. The convertible top and windows work well, ut the rear windows could use new tracks. Interesting original vehicle options include fiber optic light sensors and floor radio seek control button.
There is one small ding on the front edge of the hood and one small paint chip on the top of the fender where it meets the driver door. The steering wheel is cracked at the top and bottom.The only item missing from the car is a the original shift knob.
The sale includes the original Trim/Paint tags and build sheet-see pictures.This car runs and drives very well, ooks great, nd is totally straight and completely rust free. The pictures don't lie. It has always been garaged, have never washed it with water and this car has never seen the rain.
