1955 Cadillac Series 62 4-Door Sedan
Offered here is a beautiful two-owner 1950’s Cadillac for consideration. This car was purchased new on August 24, 1955 by Harlan and Bernice Knem from Nodell Cadillac, Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The original Cadillac Identification Card is still attached to radiator support under the bonnet. It also comes with the accompanying Cadillac Owner Service Policy documentation with all the original ownership history, original keys with knockouts, original Cadillac shop manuals, and the original owners manual with the original Wisconsin registration certificate.
Our client purchased the car on December 13, 2007 and he has kept the car as original as possible. Everything remains original including the interior, except for a 2008 professional repaint in the original Dresden Blue Metallic (code 24) paint. The Caddy is powered by the original, numbers matching 331ci/230hp V8 and original 4-Speed Hyrda-Matic Automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. It starts on command, runs strong, and drives down the road nice and smooth, as you would expect for from a Cadillac. It is also optioned with power steering and power brakes. Other mechanical upgrades include a new battery, new tires, and new exhaust. All chrome is in awesome condition and all body panels are rust free and neatly fit. Some further noteworthy features include exhaust tips in the rear bumper and the hidden gas tank cap under the driver’s side rear taillight.
With less than 59,000 original miles, this is an amazing vehicle at a very reasonable price. You will be hard-pressed to find another vehicle in this condition with all ownership history and low miles. It is truly a timepiece and at this price, one you can cruise anywhere with family and friends.
Thank you for looking.
