1970 Buick Skylark coupe I purchases car on eBay form California in2010 with the intent of using it for a donor car for my 70 455 GS convertible. When it arrived it started right up and drove perfect. I did not have the heart to cut up such a solid car I have done the following: New Bamboo Cream paint (original color) New Legends interior professionally installed New exhaust New rubber seals though out New GS wheels and BFGoodrich tires (15"x8" on rear and 15"7" on front) Put a gs hood and grill I had on car (hood had some nose damage but is repaired Put a set up spark plugs in it changed the oil and drive it. Trunk pan did have pin holes so I have replaced Passenger's fender had one dime size hole under molding, emoved fender and metal patched. Passenger's inner fender battery tray was replaced. Issues that still need attention to make perfect: Dash chrome is shot Window cranks have pits in them Glass in rear view mirror is clouded Bumpers are a 7 or 8 Headlight bezels are a 6 or 7 Need new dome lights in sail panels I would convert to disc brakes but drums work fine Changed out valve cover gaskets that were leaking so bottom of motor and Trans need some cleaning A/C car, as all components and has pressure on it, eeds a dual pulley on alt. and a belt to check operation. Dash duct work was dry rotted. Needs new tubes installed to vents Needs new radio and faceplate.
