Buick Special 1940 Description
YOU ARE BUYING a 1940 Buick Kustom Coupe, 1 of 400 Buick produced originally. The body has been sculpted by NorCal Legendary Kustomizer -Bill Reasoner. The top has been chopped and sectioned and the widows peak windshield accentuated. The rear fenders have been widened and the deck lid reshaped to fit the new proportions. The B-pillar has been removed with the thought of making "Matranga" style window frames. The 1947 Cadillac Series 62 grill has been recessed sitting between sunken "51" Mercury headlight buckets and rings. The hood side and cowl vents have been filled and the door handles shaved. One-off rear skirts are included to complete the desired look. The vehicles frame has been clipped with a Camaro front end with disk brakes, and the rear portion of the frame has been C'd with a 10 bolt rear end mounted on leaf springs. The Chevy 350 engine is a brand new 20 year old crate engine along with Turbo 350 transmission. The car comes equipped with a new after market air-conditioning pump. Included are "66" T-Bird buckets for the front seats, tilt steering column and extra stainless spear packages.
