Buick Touring 1923 Description
So here is the story...I normally restore antique motorcycles I find. I found this Buick with my wife and she wanted me to buy it and turn it into a flower bed in the front of our ranchette. I assumed that it was a good idea until I was unloading it off my car trailer and noticed:-it has a bonded title and I also have the Kansas title from 1961-It rolls-brakes kinda work -transmission shifted- wood wheels in good shape-it was in gear and the motor was turning over. -It hasa inline 6 cylinder ( much faster than the 4 cylinders)I looked the whole car over and decided this really needs a second life!
I found one that sold for 92,000.00 and another for 65,000.00 so I think it is worth restoring.
I know nothing about these antique cars but what I noticed is the wood wheels are in great shape and can not find any wood rot.
The body is in great shape except by the drive side rear has a buckle in it(see pic).small panel between driver and back door is rotted
The rear convertible top window panel is still in the car
Missing the radiator cap, one of the headlight lens. The front bow for the top is busted but can easily be used as a template for a new oneI am guessing it is around 90 to 95% complete
Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.Bart 214 546 1919
