AMC Pacer 1976 Description
All Original 1976 AMC Pacer DL w/ Aztec Interior. This was a one owner car it was purchased to be sold and I bought it about 6-7 months ago. I tossed it into storage for the winter. I bought it with intentions of tubbing it and putting a small block in it sortof father and son project. I have no time and with limited skills would end up paying someone else to do the "heavy lifting" so I am nixing the whole idea. My wife had one of these when I met her, it was the first time I had seen one.It definitely attracts crowds, from old AMC buffs to people that think its cute, most recentlykidsget their pictures with it because of the car movie and a car called "tubs" and "acer." Every time I am driving people have their phones out and tons of thumbs up.
I have taken as many pictures as ebay allows and uploaded over 15 mins of video on YOUTUBE with walk around, running, driving and video of some rusty areas. Please watch the videos as it will give the best understanding of the vehicle.
All gauges are functional, it starts right up and drivers fine. I have taken it to work easily going 65 mph. The heater core is capped as it was leaking, it was done professionally and prior to my ownership.
All gauges and indicatorswork. Tires are older but fine, no steering issues, shifts fine engine starts right up, is smooth, no knocks and purrs these motors are bulletproof.
There is some rust in the sheet metal behind the bumpers, at the very underneath of the drivers front rocker around the gas tank filler neck. I go over it quite extensively in the last video. Overall in excellent shape, floor pans, front clip front quarters are solid and is in great shape, especially for its age.
As far as shipping and for your referenceI had it shipped to me, flat bed, from the east coast for 600.00. I used U Ship. I paid a lot more than I am askin, I know I am taking a bath on it. This is a NO RESERVE auction and buyer is responsible for shipping
Please contact me with any questions, communication is key to a successful transaction, feel free to send someone to evaluate the car and enjoy the videos. I will not be processing any returns.
